Family news about the Lesesne/LeSane family originating in the the area of Sumter, South Carolina. Legacy: Seven kin who were descendants of African slaves previously residing on the Plowden Plantations, did, after the Civil war, take the name Lesesne after trekking miles to get permission from a former plantation owner, a Major Lesesne who was known for his kindness to his slaves. Hello Family! I want to clarify the hotel reservation options for the upcoming reunion July 19-22 2018. July 22 is a Sunday and most will be checking out that day.

Option 1: Call the hotel registration number (The Doubletree by Hilton Washington DC/Crystal city) @ 1-800-222-8733. You MUST reference the Lesesne/LeSane reunion to get the negotiated rate. If you call the hotel directly they will forward your call to the 800 number.

Hey Family,

That time is coming. A year has already passed and this time next year we will be preparing to be in Washington D.C. Don't meet me there, beat me there. The date has been set, so please mark your calendars for July 19-22nd, 2018. We have lost 3 major regular participants and they will no longer be able to attend these reunions. But I am sure they are looking down from above to see what is happening. Please carry their legacy and honor by attending. Come and meet some family and build new and meaningful relationships.
